MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS FOR EXHIBITORS

In order to exhibit, ALL companies must first be approved as Full Members of the LLHA Association, with annual fees paid in advance of the Show. This not only entitles you to the privilege of exhibiting, but also to the annual Member Benefits from Canada's national industry association: The LLHA Association of Canada. Companies that do not qualify as Full Members and hence cannot exhibit in the Show, are still encouraged to join the LLHA Association as Associate Members in order to enjoy the benefits of yearly membership!


The Application For Membership at right must be completed and submitted to the LLHA Association in order for you to be considered as a potential Exhibitor. This application should only be submitted through the website, it may not be faxed or mailed in. In addition to applying online, all applicants are required to fax a copy of their company's incorporation or registration certificate to the attention of Catherine Genge at the LLHA Association office at: 519-624-6408. This document is required for proof of company status. Note: the date on this certificate should match the "Date of Incorporation" you have entered on the online application. (Only the one page of your company's document that shows this date, needs to be faxed, not the entire document). The bottom of the Application For Membership online form, outlines the mandatory requirements for membership.


Membership Benefits at right details the current list of annual benefits for LLHA Association Members. Approved LLHA Show Exhibitors are entitled to the list of Full Member benefits. To visit the LLHA Association website, click on LLHA ASSOCIATION.


Once approved as Full Members, Exhibitor applicants will be
notified by the LLHA Association, at which point they can proceed
to book booth space with Show Management using the
Contract for Exhibit Space and Show Floorplan at right.

The Contract must be printed, completed and faxed back to 416-223-2826,
or mailed to the Pro-Sho office address. Include your requested # of booths
and booth location(s). Please note that no contract will be processed, including
formal booth allocation, unless accompanied by the appropriate deposit (by Cheque,
Visa or MasterCard).

HIGHLIGHTS FROM 2007…

The 27th LLHA Show arrived again at the elegant Toronto Congress Centre, featuring the theme:
IT'S NO JOKE…..This is the only place to see it all! An emphasis on the wide range of quality products and designs now on display, with the LLHA Show having expanded its offerings over the last decade to the point where it truly is an Industry "one-stop-shop"!

LLHA had another strong Exhibitor showing, with over 400 Booths representing 135 Exhibitors including 37 New Participants, our most new participants ever. Many of the Show’s New Exhibitors represented the Fashion Accessory category - an ever-growing Exhibitor segment in the LLHA Show, as Buyers search more & more for that perfect piece of jewellery, or belt or other accessory to complement their purchases of handbags and other traditional LLHA items. The number of Buyers visiting LLHA to purchase Fashion Accessories has increased over 62% since 2000!

In keeping with the show’s theme, Retailers were truly laughing all the way to the booth with $10,000 in their pockets to spend at the show. A number of lucky buyers won this “funny money” to spend at the booth(s) of their choice - always a welcome surprise for the other lucky recipients of this money, the exhibitors! Seminar speaker Jeff Mowatt gave an entertaining presentation, sharing his valuable principles on how to create trust for suppliers and retailers, with: "The Art of Client Service....Influence with Ease®" Perennial favourite Randy Harris of Trendex North America was back for his 6th appearance to give his statistical insights into the year that was in the Industry, with his: "Update on the Canadian Luggage and Leathergoods Retail Market". The LLHA Association’s annual President’s Reception at the Airport Marriott was another well-attended hit, with Buyers, Exhibitors and other LLHA Members celebrating the upcoming Show with delicious cuisine, coveted industry awards, music, and in honour of the Show theme, some hilarious stand-up comedy entertainment! Overall, the Show also had another terrific assortment of Buyer "bells and whistles": Special Hotel Rates including Shuttle Bus Service, Free Parking, Free Admittance, $10,000 in Prize Money, President’s Reception, Randy Harris and Jeff Mowatt Seminars, Neck & Shoulder Massage, Internet Café and more!

Take advantage of our V.I.P. Program for Buyers with busy schedules who require a little extra time to do their purchasing - an Exhibitor may, by special invitation, invite a Qualified Buyer into the Show as early as 8:00 am, one full hour prior to the official 9:00 am Show opening, on any of the Show days. Buyers are also permitted to continue placing orders up to 7:00 pm, one full hour after the official 6:00 pm Show closing (Sunday & Monday only - Buyers must remain within the Exhibitor booth, and are not permitted to walk the aisles after Show closing).

NOTE: Exhibitors who wish to make use of this program must have confirmed appointments with Qualifed Buyers. For appointments between 8:00 am-9:00 am, Exhibitors must notify Show Management with at least one day's notice, in order for Building Security to be alerted to allow admittance. Exhibitors are to meet the Buyer(s) at Show Entrance and proceed directly to their booth, since walking the aisles during this hour is not permitted.
